Industries
Where the data can’t leave
Sovrinity is built around one requirement: your data stays in your environment. That requirement doesn’t belong to an industry. It belongs to any organization holding information it can’t hand to somebody else’s model. The three sectors below are where the requirement is written into law, where getting it wrong costs the most, and where we’re asked for it most often.
Healthcare
The constraint
Patient data carries obligations that do not pause because a tool is convenient. Under HIPAA, every system touching PHI expands the surface you have to account for, and every third-party processor is another relationship to justify. Health information exchange makes that harder, not easier: the data is already moving between organizations that each answer for it.
What personas do here
- Keep provider and payer integrations healthy as interfaces drift
- Reconcile records across systems that disagree
- Read long clinical and administrative documents and surface what a human needs to decide on
- Watch for the exceptions a person should look at
Why sovereignty is the unlock
PHI never leaves the environment it is already governed in. There is no new processor to add, no new egress path to defend, and the audit story is the one you already have.
Financial services
The constraint
Examiners ask how a decision was made, and “the model decided” is not an answer. Institutions operating under GLBA, and credit unions under NCUA and FFIEC expectations, have to show that member and customer data stayed protected and that a person remained accountable.
What personas do here
- Loan and participation review
- Member and customer document and application work
- Continuous compliance monitoring against written policy
- Research and synthesis for committee and board material
Why sovereignty is the unlock
The data stays inside the institution, and every action a persona takes is logged and attributable. You keep the record an examination depends on, and you keep the human decision point.
Defense and the public sector
The constraint
Some environments have no route to the internet, and that is a deliberate design decision rather than a limitation to work around. Programs operating under CMMC expectations need capability that survives that constraint.
What personas do here
- Research synthesis across controlled holdings
- Documentation and reporting work
- Monitoring and review tasks that would otherwise consume cleared people’s time
Why sovereignty is the unlock
Sovrinity is air-gappable by design. It runs with no external inference dependency at all, so the capability arrives without the connection.
The same requirement, everywhere else
Regulation is only the most visible form of the constraint. Manufacturers hold process knowledge that is the business. Law firms hold work under privilege. Utilities run infrastructure that can’t be exposed. Research organizations hold results that aren’t yet theirs to share. None of that shows up in a compliance framework, and all of it turns on the same question: can this data go to someone else’s model?
If the answer is no, this platform was built for you.
Sovrinity is built to be audited. HIPAA, GLBA, NCUA, FFIEC, SOX and CMMC are the regimes our customers operate under — we build so their evidence holds up, and we make no certification claims of our own.
